Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Buyer Planner II - Aftermarket R&O in Burbank to manage procurement and coordinating with Value Streams, Master Scheduler, and Purchasing.

The role ensures timely delivery of parts, supports repair unit planning, and drives improvements in cost and inventory accuracy. The position requires 2–4 years of buying/planning experience, strong communication, and teamwork skills, with a focus on ERP/MRP processes and supplier relations in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• 2+ years buying experience in a similar industry.
• BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of production planning and MRP.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning of customer repair units for Aftermarket; includes oversight, purchase requisition placement and reschedules.
• Enter purchase orders for SIP Parts and follow up on open POs with SIP Vendors.
• Coordinate resolution of material issues to ensure availability of required materials.
• Schedule repair jobs through the shop to meet One-Time-Delivery and Turn-Around-Times.
• Suggest new ideas to improve efficiency, cost reduction, and on-hand inventory.
