This role partners with suppliers and internal teams to monitor inventory, resolve delivery issues, maintain ERP/MRP data, and analyze key metrics; strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Manufacturing experience with production support, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ERP/MRP experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail orientation and ability to work independently with teams.

About the role:

This on-site Materials Planner/Buyer role is responsible for planning, purchasing, and managing materials to support production schedules, customer demand, and inventory objectives while ensuring uninterrupted operations. The position partners closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to monitor inventory levels, coordinate material availability, resolve supply and delivery issues, maintain accurate ERP/MRP data, and analyze key supply chain metrics. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a high level of accountability, attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The pay range for this role is $60,000 to $71,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, with an understanding of production support, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
