Safran Trusted 4D Inc. in West Henrietta, NY is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage purchasing, materials planning, supplier relations, and life cycle support for critical suppliers. You will place orders, track deliveries, and build commodity strategies to align with production needs.

The role requires a degree in a related field and 3+ years in supply chain or procurement, with SAP/ERP and strong Excel skills. Collaboration with NPI teams and cross-functional partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 3+ years experience in supply chain, procurement, sales, or business role.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems, order management, and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and RFQs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, work independently, and document work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Place and manage orders to support forecast and production orders.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure on-time delivery, high quality, and cost control.
• Develop commodity strategies aligned with business objectives.

We’re looking for a Buyer/Planner to join our growing team in West Henrietta, NY.

The Position:

The Buyer/planneris responsible for and manages purchasing, materials requirements planning, supplier relationship management, product life cycle and service design, among other thingsfor the critical supplier’s management.

The Day to Day:

• Placing and managing orders to support forecast and production orders
• Managing supplier relationships and ensuring OTD, High Quality and Cost is maintained
• Building and creating commodity strategies that support business objectives
• Working cross functionally to support NPI Projects
• Maintaining queues that directly impact order placement, acknowledgement, delivery, part set up, etc.

What you Bring to Safran:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, or Business related position.
• Experience and knowledge of using SAP or similar ERP systems, order management, inventory management, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and RFQs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, work independently, and document work effectively.
