Job summary

Titan International in Franklin, TN seeks a Buyer Planner to support procurement and material planning across our supply chain. You will manage MRP requirements, purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier performance, ensuring timely material availability while minimizing excess.

Collaborate with Sales, Production, Planning, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to meet production schedules and customer demand using data and ERP tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, or a related area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP procurement and inventory systems; JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a plus.
• Experience with contract negotiation and project management.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable information.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement to support production schedules and customer demand.
• Review and manage weekly MRP signals and translate into purchasing actions.
• Analyze inventory and demand forecasts to optimize stock and reduce obsolescence.
• Issue and track purchase orders with supplier acknowledgments and quality requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Planning, Marketing, and Supply Chain to align supply with demand.
• Use data tools to monitor performance, forecast accuracy, and inventory levels.
• Lead supplier transitions and new product introductions with cross-functional coordination.

We are seeking a Buyer Planner to support procurement and material planning activities across our supply chain. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely flow of materials by managing MRP requirements, purchase orders, inventory levels, supplier performance, and demand needs. The Buyer Planner will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain material availability while helping minimize excess and obsolete inventory.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Manage procurement activities to ensure materials are available to support production schedules and customer demand.
• Review and manage weekly MRP signals and translate requirements into timely purchasing actions.
• Analyze inventory levels and demand forecasts to optimize inventory and reduce excess or obsolete material.
• Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, timely supplier acknowledgments, and compliance with applicable quality requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, delivery schedules, and product requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery and quality, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Planning, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align supply with demand.
• Use data and reporting tools to monitor supply performance, forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
• Lead or support supplier transitions, new product introductions, and other critical supply initiatives requiring cross-functional coordination.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, or a related area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationships.
• Experience with contract negotiation and project management.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data and translate findings into concise, actionable information.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP procurement and inventory systems; JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience is a plus.
• Experience with SQL or a similar data-analysis tool is preferred.
