Job summary

Cristek is hiring a Buyer to manage procurement of materials, components, and services for aerospace and defense manufacturing. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.

The role requires a 2–4 year background in purchasing or supply chain, ERP/MRP experience, and the ability to read engineering drawings. ITAR compliance is a key consideration, and experience in aerospace is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective supplier relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, high-mix manufacturing, OSP, or MRO purchasing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing, supplier qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure purchasing activities meet company, customer, quality, and regulatory requirements, including ITAR.

As a Buyer, you’ll manage the procurement of materials, components, and services that support our aerospace and defense manufacturing operations. You’ll work directly with suppliers and partner with Planning, Production, Engineering, and Quality to maintain material availability, resolve supply challenges, and keep production moving.
