Job summary

Engineering Resource Group, Inc. seeks a Buyer to support procurement operations and an enterprise ERP implementation at a medical device manufacturer. You will process POs, track deliveries, and maintain supplier data within a controlled quality system.

You will gather quotes, monitor inventory with the planning team, and support ERP data migration and testing. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in purchasing or materials planning are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing, materials planning or supply chain experience.
• Purchasing experience in regulated manufacturing environments (medical device, pharmaceutical or aerospace).
• Working knowledge of procurement, inventory and logistics processes.
• Hands-on experience with a tier-one ERP platform; SAP S/4HANA preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, lookups and basic data analysis.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 purchasing controls a plus.
• Experience supporting an ERP implementation, migration or upgrade a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate requirements gathering between supply chain, IT, quality and outside implementation consultants.
