Turner & Townsend is seeking a procurement professional in Annapolis, Maryland, responsible for supervising commodity teams and enhancing procurement practices.
This role requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration and substantial experience in large-scale procurement. Work involves responsibility for supervising and coordinating commodity group teams, conducting research as a preliminary to and basis for negotiations of contracts, and the analysis and development of improvements in bid invitations, specifications, and other features of procurement practice.
Work is required to be performed in conformity with applicable laws and regulations, but the employee of this class is expected to proceed with substantial independence in evaluating existing practices and procedures and in identifying and exploiting opportunities for improvements therein.
Work is subject to review by the Purchasing Agent where significant procedural changes are involved, but work is appraised primarily in terms of the quality of constructive work in strengthening the effectiveness of procurement operations.
The salary range for this full‑time role is $110K-$145 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
