The ideal candidate will lead sourcing strategies, negotiate terms, and collaborate with internal teams to improve supply chain efficiency, with exposure to ERP systems and a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sourcing strategies for assigned materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and purchasing terms.
• Monitor supplier quality, delivery, and overall performance.
• Ensure materials arrive on time to support production.
• Monitor inventory levels and help prevent shortages.
• Manage multiple suppliers and purchasing categories.
• Support purchasing for new products and engineering changes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve purchasing processes.
• Work with internal teams to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Help develop and maintain strong supplier networks.
• Lead or support supply chain improvement projects.

Pay:$33.00 - $35.00 per hour Job description: Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Buyer III to manage strategic purchasing and supplier relationships. This role focuses on sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, controlling costs, and ensuring materials are available when needed.

What You’ ll Do

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with manufacturing or production environments.
• Knowledge of machining, metal fabrication, castings, or forgings preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally when needed.
