Job description

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage assigned spending categories (e.g., direct materials, indirect materials, new technology, services).
• Issue and manage purchase orders from requisition to delivery confirmation.
• Monitor supplier performance and work with vendors to address quality or delivery issues.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules within approved authority limits.
• Engage with suppliers with a focus on Quality, Cost, and Delivery KPIs.
• Analyze purchase history and identify cost or process improvement opportunities.
• Assist in sourcing alternative suppliers to improve cost, quality, and lead time.
• Maintain and update ERP system information (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central).
• Right‑size the supply base for ANA production and future growth.
• Support the Purchasing Manager in vendor audits and contract renewals.
• Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and budget goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with global purchasing processes and international supplier coordination is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Proficiency with Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Working knowledge of contract terms, Incoterms, and supplier evaluation.
