ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, with locations in Cypress, California and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and scaling, and we are seeking an Engineering Project Manager in an onsite position in Henderson, Nevada.

As we transition from research and development into a full-scale commercial product development organization, we are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead our New Product Introduction (NPI) framework and manage key operational systems. This role bridges technical execution and operational readiness by leading project timelines, driving Change Request (CR) workflows, and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The ideal candidate ensures engineering change integrity, manages part life cycles, and establishes grounded, realistic launch schedules across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, hands‑on project leader who can operate comfortably at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, systems, and business operations. This individual should be comfortable establishing structure where processes are still evolving, identifying risks before they become problems, and holding cross‑functional teams accountable to realistic commitments.

The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays from 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM. This role reports to the Director of R&D.

Role & Responsibilities:
New Product Introduction (NPI) & Timeline Management:
  • Own end-to-end NPI project schedules for engineering, including providing input for gate reviews, and engineering critical‑path milestone tracking from initial design through pilot and mass production.
  • Serve as the central operational liaison between Engineering and the program team.
  • Establish realistic, data‑backed engineering NPI schedules and manage risk registers to mitigate timeline slippage.
Change Management & Technical Documentation:
  • Manage and process Change Requests (CRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) across product lines.
  • Oversee technical documentation standards, ensuring accurate tracking and archiving of design changes, drawings, and revision histories.
  • Own and administer Change Request (CR) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes across product lines.
  • Coordinate engineering changes from initial request through review, approval, implementation, and release.
  • Ensure engineering changes are properly documented, communicated, and implemented across affected functions.
  • Maintain accurate revision histories and ensure drawings, specifications, BOMs, and related technical documentation remain current.
  • Establish and maintain disciplined documentation standards to support product integrity, traceability, and production readiness.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to assess the operational, inventory, procurement, and production impacts of proposed changes.
  • Ensure obsolete or superseded components are appropriately identified and transitioned through the product life cycle.
ERP & Master Data Configuration (Business Central):
  • Lead the hands‑on configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for engineering data structures.
  • Set up and maintain engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and item cards.
  • Manage product life cycles within the ERP, including creating new part numbers, transitioning active components, and formally obsoleting end‑of‑life parts.
  • Ensure seamless data alignment between engineering releases and procurement/inventory systems to eliminate production bottlenecks and scrap.
  • Lead hands‑on configuration and maintenance of engineering‑related product data within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Create and maintain item cards, engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, revisions, and other product master data.
  • Create and maintain new part numbers in alignment with established engineering and business processes.
  • Manage product life‑cycle transitions, including new product introduction, active component changes, replacements, and end‑of‑life/obsolete parts.
  • Ensure engineering releases are accurately reflected in ERP, procurement, inventory, and manufacturing systems.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Inventory, and Operations to identify and resolve data gaps that could create production delays, excess inventory, or scrap.
  • Establish data integrity standards and controls that support accurate planning, purchasing, production, and inventory management.
  • Help evolve Business Central processes and system functionality as ANA scales its commercial product portfolio.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related technical field
  • 3–5+ years of progressive project management experience within a product development, engineering, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or related environment.
  • ERP Proficiency: Direct hands‑on experience configuring product data, BOMs, and ECOs in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or similar modern ERP systems).
  • Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of structured NPI processes, ECO/CR workflows, and product life cycle management (PLM).
  • Skills: Strong cross‑functional leadership, structured risk management, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross‑functional projects from development through production launch.
  • Experience working within a structured NPI, stage‑gate, product development, or engineering change environment.
  • Experience working directly with Engineering, Manufacturing/Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality teams.
  • Strong project planning, organization, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Ability to develop realistic schedules and effectively manage competing priorities and dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of NPI, ECO/CR workflows, product life‑cycle management, and manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a practical, data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and process discipline.
  • Ability to identify risks proactively, challenge unrealistic timelines, and drive accountability across stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a growing organization where processes are being built, refined, and scaled.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, or similar project‑management/process‑improvement certification.
  • Experience in industrial equipment, heavy equipment, power generation, compressors, manufacturing, or other engineered products.
