Job summary

SoloPoint Solutions, Inc. is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing programs and supplier relationships within a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Wisconsin. You will work with engineering, finance, production, and leadership to source materials and realize cost savings.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in purchasing, strong MRP/ERP knowledge, and experience interpreting drawings and BOMs. Proficiency with Excel and a disciplined records system are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of purchasing or buying experience, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and material planning processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
• Proven skills in supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, and cost reduction.
• Experience purchasing mechanical, electrical, and industrial components is desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee purchasing programs with key suppliers and monitor their performance.
• Implement strategies to identify and realize cost savings opportunities.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, production, and leadership to source industry-relevant materials and maintain a pipeline of procurement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records for part maintenance, supplier invoices, and material requirements, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
