Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Buyer to manage inventory control, vendor relations, price negotiations, and Purchase Order processing within our Supply Chain department. The role reports to the Materials and Supply Chain Manager.

The position requires a minimum 3 years of relevant buyer experience, strong communication, and ERP familiarity (SAP preferred). It is an exempt, full-time role with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• Minimum of a high school diploma required.
• CPSM certification preferred for progression.
• Goal oriented cost savings experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a buyer.

Responsibilities

• Enter purchase orders, obtain quotes, expedite, and document order confirmations.
• Notify departments of major pricing discrepancies and track confirmations.
• Assist Receiving Dept with discrepancies and information requests.
• Support service field leads with purchase orders.
• Vendor setups and maintenance of source lists.
• Assist other Purchasing team members as needed.
• Focus on cost savings and spend analysis.
• Enter and track Purchase Orders in a timely manner.
