  • Maximo Purchasing system experience preferred.
  • Work in utilities or heavy industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Source and procure for Plants Calhoun, Central, Greene County, Lindsay Hill, Sabic and the NCCC.
  • Issue RFQs, analyze bids, negotiate terms, and create purchase orders for inventory, non-stock materials, and services.
  • Expedite orders and resolve supplier problems to maintain supply continuity.
  • Collaborate with business unit partners to align procurement with plant needs.

The Buyer spends considerable time and effort communicating and engaging with their business unit partners while performing the duties listed above.
