Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring a Buyer's Assistant II in Keene, NH. This full-time, hybrid role supports buyers with inventory inbound maintenance, order processing, and coordination with vendors, transportation, and warehouses. Strong attention to detail and multitasking are essential.

Responsibilities include PO entry, revisions, expedites, and routine follow-up until receipt, along with data collection and procurement reporting. No travel required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Outstanding attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and sometimes demanding environment

• Manage inbound purchase orders: revisions, expedites, dating, securing of appointments, and routine follow up until receipt.
• Respond to calls & email from customers, buyers, vendors, and warehouses pertaining to purchase orders, inventory management, transportation and impaired inventory issues.
• Return logistics process: Completion of R-Bills; manage return/disposition of impaired inventories with buyers and external parties.
• Produce and distribute procurement reports.
• Data collection, organization, and distribution.
• Assist with start-up related tasks when required by department Manager.

Job Description

• Full Time, Hybrid Role - Post Training
• Location: Keene, NH

You will contribute by:

• Purchase order entry: manually key punch customer order requests received into C&S order processing system
• Responsible for all aspects of managing inbound purchase orders: revisions, expedites, dating, securing of appointments, and routine follow up until receipt.
• Respond to calls & email from customers, buyers, vendors, and warehouses pertaining to purchase orders, inventory management, transportation and impaired inventory issues.
• Return logistics process: Completion of R-Bills; working with buyers and external parties to manage return/disposition of impaired inventories.
• Production and distribution of various Procurement reports.
• Data collection, organization, and distribution.
• Projects pertaining to service level management and inventory management, assigned by supervisor.
• Assist with start-up related tasks when required by the department Manager.
