Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring a Buyer's Assistant II in a full-time, hybrid role based in Keene, NH. You will assist buyers with inventory inbound maintenance, service level troubleshooting, and coordination with vendors, transportation and warehouses.

Strong attention to detail and multitasking are essential. Responsibilities include PO entry, revisions and follow-up, vendor and customer communications, return logistics, and procurement reporting.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Outstanding attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Purchase order entry: manually key punch customer order requests into C&S order processing system.
• Manage inbound purchase orders: revisions, expedites, dating, securing appointments, and follow up until receipt.
• Respond to calls & emails from customers, buyers, vendors, and warehouses regarding purchase orders, inventory management, transportation and impaired inventory issues.
• Return logistics: completion of RBills; manage return/disposition of impaired inventories with buyers and external parties.
• Produce procurement reports and data collection/distribution.
• Engage in projects related to service level management and inventory management as assigned.
• Assist with start-up related tasks as required by department Manager.

Job Description

• Full Time, Hybrid Role - Post Training
• Location: Keene, NH

You will contribute by:

• Purchase order entry: manually key punch customer order requests received into C&S order processing system
• Responsible for all aspects of managing inbound purchase orders: revisions, expedites, dating, securing of appointments, and routine follow up until receipt.
• Respond to calls & emails from customers, buyers, vendors, and warehouses pertaining to purchase orders, inventory management, transportation and impaired inventory issues.
• Return logistics process: Completion of R-Bills; working with buyers and external parties to manage return/disposition of impaired inventories.
• Production and distribution of various Procurement reports.
• Data collection, organization, and distribution.
• Projects pertaining to service level management and inventory management, assigned by supervisor.
• Assist with start-up related tasks when required by the department Manager.
• Travel Required: No
