Job summary

nVent seeks a seasoned supply chain professional to analyze spend, manage procurement, and optimize raw material availability at our Blaine facility. You will partner with project teams to drive cost reductions and maintain rigorous data integrity across ERP/MRP systems.

You will leverage data analytics to forecast requirements, monitor supplier performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve replenishment and inventory strategies. This is an onsite role in Blaine.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, or related field is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Skilled in using data and analytics to inform decision-making and forecast requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze spend and perform detailed supply market analysis and track performance results.
  • Partner with Project Leads and Managers to assist with material cost reduction projects.
  • Develop, document, and maintain common processes performed.
  • Support supply management software and become subject matter expert.
  • Review demand signals and place purchase orders to fulfill raw material needs.
  • Manage open purchase orders, monitor vendor on-time delivery, and support vendor development.
  • Maintain data integrity in key system fields for accurate signaling and ordering.
  • Use data to identify supply risks and collaborate with suppliers and Strategic Sourcing to implement solutions.
  • Share material availability updates with Production Planning, Operations, and cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze inventory levels and stock positions to optimize material availability.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing on replenishment strategies and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Quality teams on return material authorizations and supplier reviews.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

YOU HAVE:

Pay Transparency nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range: $62,900.00 - $116,900.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
