Job summary

NextDeavor is seeking a Buyer for a contract assignment in West Hollywood, CA to secure quality parts and services and keep manufacturing lines running on schedule. The role covers September through December 2026 and involves bidding, supplier management, and delivery coordination onsite from 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday.

You will work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, initiate purchase orders, and leverage EDI/MRP systems.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of purchasing/procurement experience.
  • Aerospace industry experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Knowledge of purchasing and negotiation methods, procurement-related regulatory requirements, and basic continuous improvement concepts.
  • Ability to use purchasing/materials systems (EDI or MRP) and standard business software.
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to read and interpret financial reports and calculate discounts/percentages.
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills.

  • Prioritize assignments and work with general direction to meet production timelines.

Become a Key Player as a Buyer

You will secure quality parts and services through bidding, negotiation, and supplier management to keep manufacturing lines running on schedule. You will work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to place orders, arrange delivery, and resolve procurement issues during a contract assignment covering September through December 2026. This is an onsite, first-shift role (7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday) with a 5x8 days schedule.

Pay Range

$46.91 - $58.64/hour
