Aston Carter seeks an experienced Buyer to drive sourcing and procurement for manufacturing operations in a high-collector environment. The role focuses on balancing cost, quality, delivery, supplier capability, and regulatory compliance to ensure product availability.

The candidate will analyze supplier performance, negotiate terms, manage POs, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve disruptions and improve procurement processes. Requires manufacturing exposure and ERP proficiency.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems and purchasing best practices.

Job Title: Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to support manufacturing operations through the sourcing and procurement of materials, components, and services. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product availability by balancing quality, cost, delivery performance, supplier capabilities, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing supply chain environment and possess strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, source, and purchase materials and products required for manufacturing operations.
• Evaluate suppliers and negotiate pricing, lead times, service levels, and contractual terms.
• Create and manage purchase orders while ensuring compliance with established procurement processes.
• Process purchase requisitions and provide status updates on open orders.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to expedite material requirements and resolve supply chain disruptions.
• Identify and qualify alternative suppliers when necessary.
• Coordinate transportation and monitor deliveries to ensure on-time receipt of materials.
• Analyze supplier capabilities, market conditions, total cost, quality performance, and supply risk.
• Resolve supplier quality, delivery, and performance issues and implement corrective actions as appropriate.
• Coordinate closely with inventory, stockroom, quality, and operations teams.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Company benefits are provided to candidate upon an offer extension.
