ElDorado National California Inc. (ENC) is seeking a Buyer with OEM procurement experience to source materials, negotiate supplier terms, and manage the RFQ-to-PO lifecycle. The role focuses on cost optimization, delivery performance, and strategic supplier relationships in the automotive sector.

You will collaborate with Aftermarket sales, leverage advanced Excel and ERP/MRP tools, and ensure on-time, cost-efficient procurement to support our Riverside-based operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preference for business, supply chain or engineering.
• 2–4 years procurement experience in a dynamic environment; automotive procurement or aftermarket purchasing preferred.
• Relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers desirable.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials to ensure optimal cost, quality and delivery.
• Negotiate and manage supplier performance to achieve best value and schedule alignment.
• Oversee RFQ process, procurement awards, PO creation, and goods receipt management.
• Collaborate with Aftermarket sales to meet customer requirements and cost objectives.
• Ensure suppliers meet delivery schedules and address performance issues to avoid delays.
• Leverage Excel tools and ERP/MRP to analyze procurement data and provide actionable insights.

Location: Riverside, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Buyer with procurement experience with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) procurement within the automotive sector or in service/aftermarket sales. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing and negotiating some of the following: raw materials, electronic components, mechanical components, steel, engines, or wheels/tires. This role will require work with OEM supply chains, cost optimization, supplier management, and inventory control. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are essential for success in this position.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Procure materials in ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate and manage supplier performance to achieve best value and schedule alignment.
• Oversee the RFQ process, procurement awards, purchase order creation, and goods receipt management.
• Work with Aftermarket sales team to meet customer requirements and meet cost objectives and timing.
• Ensure suppliers meet delivery schedules and promptly address performance issues to avoid delays.
• Leverage advanced Excel tools and ERP/MRP systems to analyze procurement data and provide actionable insights.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Experience in procurement in any of the following areas: production or aftermarket purchasing.
• Understanding of supply chain operations, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
• Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management, Project Management, and production control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, advanced formulas) and familiarity with ERP/MRP
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

Education And/or Experience

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preference given to business, supply chain or engineering degrees
• Minimum 2-4 years procurement experience in a dynamic environment with preference for automotive procurement or aftermarket purchasing.
• Relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers in the automotive supply chain are desirable.

Work Environment

• This is an onsite position based in Riverside, CA and requires being onsite. Monday-Friday.
• General office environment with work on the plant floor as required.
