Job summary

Jobot is hosting a Permanent Buyer role in Phoenix to ensure production lines run at full capacity by procuring raw materials and components. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and analyze costs to optimize purchasing strategy.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in manufacturing purchasing, strong negotiation and analytics skills, and a solid understanding of ITAR, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in supply chain management, inventory management, and purchase management.
• Solid understanding of ITAR, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.
• Proven track record in cost analysis and negotiation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to predict and navigate potential risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the purchasing of all raw materials, components, and other supplies required for production.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, improve prices, and set up terms of payment.
• Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with ITAR, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.
• Work closely with the production and engineering teams to understand their material requirements and ensure their needs are met.

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock at all times.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Buyer to join our Manufacturing team. This role will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our production lines are always running at full capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials and components necessary for our manufacturing processes. This role requires a high level of analytical thinking, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a background in the manufacturing industry and experience in navigating ITAR, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.
