In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also demonstrate your skills by identifying new suppliers in collaboration with the relevant category team.

The work model for the role is: Onsite, NC, Mebane, 6801 Industrial Drive

Your Responsibilities:

• Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
• Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.
• Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
• Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience; or a high school diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of indirect materials purchasing experience is highly desired.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and purchase orders.
• SAP Ariba experience highly desired.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, analysis, and data management.
• Experience working within ERP and procurement systems.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment highly desired.
