Job summary

Golden Nugget Las Vegas is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement for the property under the Director of Purchasing. You will source vendors, process purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and assist with vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective purchasing.

This role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), 5+ years in purchasing or sourcing, and proficiency with Excel and purchasing systems; Agilysys SWS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum five years of purchasing, sourcing, or buying experience in hospitality or related industries.
  • Experience with purchasing and inventory management systems; Agilysys SWS experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Source products and assist with vendor selection and management.
  • Obtain quotes, analyze pricing, and support competitive bidding processes.
  • Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders through the purchasing and inventory system.
  • Monitor deliveries, follow up on backorders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Review purchasing documentation, invoices, and receiving records for accuracy.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory levels and vendor performance standards.
  • Prepare reports and maintain purchasing records and documentation.
  • Support departmental procedures, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and records.
  • Provide professional service to internal departments, vendors, and guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview
