Talentify is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement for the property under the Director of Purchasing. Responsibilities include sourcing vendors, processing POs, monitoring inventory, and assisting with vendor relationships, ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing in line with company policies.

The role requires 5+ years of purchasing experience, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of purchasing, sourcing, or buying experience, preferably in hospitality, gaming, food and beverage, or a related industry.
  • Experience with purchasing and inventory management systems; Agilysys SWS experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Source products and services and assist with vendor selection and management.
  • Obtain quotes, analyze pricing, and support competitive bidding processes.
  • Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders through the purchasing and inventory system.
  • Monitor deliveries, follow up on backorders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Review purchasing documentation, invoices, and receiving records for accuracy.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory levels and vendor performance standards.
  • Prepare reports and maintain purchasing records and documentation.
  • Support departmental procedures, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and records.
  • Provide professional service to internal departments, vendors, and guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview
