The role emphasizes negotiation, supplier relationship management, and developing category strategies with experience in RFPs or bidding to identify cost savings. Onsite/5 days a week in a regulated manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree required and 3 years procurement experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a buyer, category manager, or procurement professional.
• Experience purchasing manufactured components, metals, tooling, or industrial products.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

The core responsibilities of this role will be ensuring manufacturing operations have the materials, components, and services needed to build world-class firearms. The Buyer will be a key role in helping build out the strategic side of procurement. The ideal candidate will have experience developing strategy around category management. Any experience managing RFPs, bidding, and identifying cost savings is highly preferred.

• Experience in firearms, aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
• APICS/ASCM ISM, or other procurement certifications are a plus.
