Job summary

EIS Legacy is seeking a procurement professional to manage end-to-end procurement processes, from requisition through goods receipt, while maintaining supplier relationships and inventory optimization. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and SAP proficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of procurement experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years procurement experience.
• Proficient in SAP.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders from requisition to goods receipt in ERP/MRP.
• Procure goods/services at the right time and at a competitive price.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement processes from suppliers to delivery.
• Communicate price changes with appropriate lead times.
• Manage supplier non-conformances and preventative actions.
• Provide procurement data and reporting to stakeholders.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels.
• Develop and maintain long-term supplier partnerships for continuous improvement.
• Respond to supplier inquiries and manage relationships.
• Participate in supplier evaluations and scorecards.

Ensures processes and procedures are performed in a compliant manner (ordering within lead times and minimum order quantities, minimizing stock-outs, etc.) Bilingual required (English/Spanish)

• Manages purchase orders processed from requisition to goods receipt in accordance with ERP/MRP and/or customer requirements.
• Procures certain goods or services as required by business at the right time and at a competitive price, in the right quantity
• Manages daily systems, processes and procedures governing the end to end process of the procurement of materials from the right suppliers, at the right price, quality and delivery requirements
• Work with suppliers and cross functional team to communicate price changes with appropriate lead times
• Manages all supplier non-conformance & obtain preventative actions
• Provides information and data with regard to procurement activities
• Proactively monitors, reviews and optimizes inventory levels
• Develop and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement
• Provide timely responses to supplier inquiries & actively manage supplier relationship
• Actively participate in supplier evaluations, scorecards, and reviews
• Ensures compliance with the 3 quote or 3 quote exemption from process to support indirect or regionally based purchases
• Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the procurement process
• Performs other job-related duties as required
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with company’s suppliers in accordance with the ethical code and standards of conduct maintaining the highest standard of professionalism

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management or related discipline
• Three or more years of experience
• Proficient in MS Office
• SAP expertise required
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
