The ideal candidate has a knowledge of electronics and test equipment, server racks, and is technically minded. As a contributor in a small company, you will be expected to be a self-starter and ready to learn various buying categories, as well as effectively manage costing and procurement schedules.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Prepares purchase orders, places orders, and selects vendors
• Requests and analyzes quotes to ensure equipment or parts are available in sufficient quantities and with acceptable lead times
• Monitors purchase orders to ensure product is received on time and tracks back orders
• Works with warehouse staff to maintain inventory records and receipt of product on time
• Monitors and maintains purchase order systems
• Consults with suppliers to obtain correct equipment based on specifications
• Maintains working relationships with vendors and suppliers for quote and rate/price negotiations
• Creates and maintains supplier scorecards
• Creates new vendor accounts, establishes terms, researches and recommends new vendors
• Reconciles invoices from suppliers if purchase orders are not referenced
• Creates and processes returns of equipment for calibration, repair or return
• Creates purchasing reports weekly and monthly
• Performs other duties as assigned

Pay:

$60,000 $85,000 per year

Hours:

Full-time, In-office, Monday through Friday. 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with ability to work extended hours as required.
