• Negotiate and place the order for procurement of commodities as assigned.
• Evaluate new and current suppliers.
• Negotiates and releases Purchase Orders in accordance with established approval levels.
• Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
• Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
• Communicating with Persons Outside Organization — Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.
• Handles high dollar commodities requiring formal requests for quote and written proposals, and tough negotiations with more complex price justification.
• Procure assigned commodities and services in accordance with established delivery requirements and fund or target allocations.
• Maintain supplier communication to insure that delivery and commitment objectives are met
• Coordinate supplier registered problems with affected company departments to assure that proper solutions can be affected

Pay/Duration : 30.00 – 45.00 per hour / 12 months contract to possible direct hire
