Job summary

Titan Talent Acquisition Inc. client in Metro Detroit seeks an experienced Buyer to manage purchasing of materials, products and services to support daily operations.

You will identify suppliers, negotiate pricing, place and track orders, monitor inventory and ensure on-schedule delivery. You'll work with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and pursue cost and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP or purchasing systems preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.

Job description

One of our clients in the Metro Detroit area is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their team and manage the purchasing of materials, products, and services necessary to support daily operations.

This role will identify and evaluate suppliers, obtain and help negotiate pricing, place and track purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and ensure materials are delivered accurately and on schedule. This position will work closely with internal departments and vendors to resolve purchasing issues, maintain strong supplier relationships, and identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, and efficiency. This is a fully onsite and direct hire position.
