Curtiss-Wright is seeking a Buyer for our Bethlehem, PA facility to execute procurement operations for materials, supplies and services on-site. The role requires aligning with regulatory, contractual and policy requirements while supporting program schedules.

The position offers growth in procurement activities, engagement with internal stakeholders, and a comprehensive benefits package. On-site employment in Pennsylvania is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience with procurement processes and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze purchase requisitions and determine sourcing strategies within guidelines.
• Solicit, evaluate and negotiate quotes, pricing and delivery terms with suppliers for non-complex to moderately complex requirements.
• Support supplier selection.
• Conduct supplier site visits and rate production capability, performance and delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance including delivery, quality and responsiveness.
• Proactively address issues and escalate as needed.
• Issue and administer purchase orders and change orders with accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier disputes.
• Maintain procurement records.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, planning and engineering to align with program schedules.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement.

Our Bethlehem facility is growing, and we are looking for a Buyer to join our team!

This role is responsible for the execution of procurement operations. Under general direction, executes the purchasing of materials, supplies and services - including higher-dollar and more complex transactions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and company policies.

Location: Bethlehem, PA (on-site)

Salary: $55,000 - $80,0000Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in PA. Your Challenge

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including manufacturing, planning, and engineering departments to ensure alignment with program schedules and requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
