Job summary

Quanex IG Systems in Cambridge, OH is seeking an Operator I for the 2nd shift on the utility butyl mixing line. The role requires following batch cards, labeling materials, and ensuring proper documentation and safety.

The position offers growth opportunities, tuition assistance, training, wellness resources, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Requires 1+ year manufacturing experience and a High School diploma; overtime including weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read information in a variety of formats and use basic computer skills.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow batch cards and JQTL instructions as written.
• Properly collect, package, and label materials for testing or retention.
• Document batch records and label containers and finished goods.
• Input/scan raw materials for batching and maintain PPE.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate data.
• Perform changeovers and end-of-run cleanouts.
• Cross-train on multiple mixers in the butyl work cell.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following 6S standards.
