Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter and an experienced Lead Meat Cutter to join our busy butcher department. If you take pride in precision cutting, high-quality product, and delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you.

The roles involve leading by example on the shop floor, daily scheduling, and training apprentice cutters, with strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and OSHA requirements. Position offers growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in meat cutting.
• Experience level: Experienced.
• No degree required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision cutting, trimming, bone-in breaking, and custom preparation of beef, pork, poultry, and specialty meats.
• Lead by example on the floor, assisting with daily scheduling, task delegation, and training apprentice cutters.
• Monitor case setup, product rotation, and date codes to ensure freshness and minimize shrink.
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and OSHA compliance throughout the department.
• Track inventory levels, assist with ordering, and perform weekly yield/margin audits.
• Realizar cortes de precisión, deshuesado, perfilado y preparación personalizada de carne de res, cerdo, aves y carnes especializadas.
• Liderar con el ejemplo en el área de trabajo, asistiendo en la programación diaria, asignación de tareas y capacitación del personal.
