Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in Miami, FL is looking for a motivated Butcher to prepare specialty cuts of meat and meet customer specifications in a fast-paced production environment.

You will select products from pick tickets, cut to spec, weigh products, maintain a clean work area, and follow HACCP and GMP guidelines. 1+ year of experience and a High School Diploma or GED are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of previous work experience.
• Experience in a food processing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select products from pick tickets and stage for production.
• Cut product to meet customer specifications.
• Transport finished product to appropriate packaging line utilizing carts.
• Weigh product to ensure compliance with customer/company specifications.
• Replenish stock as needed.
• Maintain work area clean and orderly.
• Must maintain product integrity with proper handling & report damage to management immediately.
• Must follow all company policies and procedures.
• Follow all HACCP, OSHA & GMP guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Summary

As a key member of our rapidly growing organization, the Butcher contributes to our success by preparing specialty cuts of meat in a timely and efficient manner to meet our customer's expectations.
