Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group Career Center is hiring for an entry-level restaurant support role in Buena Park, CA. You will buss, clean, and reset tables, helping keep guest areas spotless and ready for service. You should be able to learn our menu, upsell items, and warmly assist guests.

Qualifications

Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
Able to work in hot and cold environments.
Walk and stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
Move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Visual ability to see in varying lighting conditions.
For California positions: Registered for Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certifications within 60 days.

Responsibilities

Buss, clean, and properly reset tables; address cleanliness and service needs in public areas.
Know the food and drink menu; recommend and upsell products.
Answer phones promptly and direct calls as applicable.
Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as needed.
Adhere to safe food handling, sanitation standards, and safety procedures.
