Job summary

Great Maple is seeking a reliable Busser to help create a warm, polished dining experience. The role supports servers, hosts, and leadership by keeping dining areas clean, clearing and resetting tables promptly, and assisting guests with needs to ensure smooth service throughout each shift.

The Busser will work with urgency while upholding professionalism, teamwork, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

The Busser plays an important role in creating the warm, polished, and welcoming dining experience Great Maple is known for. This position supports Servers, Hosts, Food Runners, and restaurant leadership by maintaining clean and organized dining areas, clearing and resetting tables promptly, assisting with guest needs, and helping ensure smooth and efficient service throughout each shift.

The Busser is expected to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail, professionalism, teamwork, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements listed below are representative of those necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

The Busser must regularly:

• Stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
• Bend, reach, stoop, crouch, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
• Carry plates, glassware, bus tubs, trays, supplies, and other restaurant items.
• Safely lift and carry items consistent with the duties of the position.
• Navigate crowded dining areas, kitchens, service stations, and other restaurant workspaces.
• Work around hot surfaces, food and beverage products, cleaning products, wet surfaces, and restaurant equipment.
