Job summary

The Yardley Inn is looking for a team-oriented Busser. No prior experience is required, and on-site training is available. The candidate should be willing to work weekends and/or holidays if needed. Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, and maintaining a clean dining area. This is an on-site role in a busy diner with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• On-site training available.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays if needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
• Promptly greet guests as they are seated.
• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course.
• Clear tables after guests.
• Take tableware to dish room and place items for washing.
• Clean tabletops, chairs and booths between seating.
• Check floor and clean as required.
• Respond to guest requests and communicate with servers and hostesses.
• Assist server with food delivery, especially with large parties.
• Thank guests as they are leaving and fill in as needed to keep operations smooth.
