Job summary

At The Bungalow Hospitality Group’s California bistro in Long Beach, we seek a Busser to support a seamless dining experience. You will clear, reset, and maintain tables and dining room efficiency, working closely with the service team to keep service flowing smoothly during busy shifts.

You must have strong teamwork, a passion for food and hospitality, and the ability to stand for long periods. California Food Handler Card is preferred or obtained within 30 days of hire; minimum 3 years in

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, elevated bistro environment with a genuine passion for food, beverage, and hospitality.
• Strong sense of teamwork and urgency.

Job description

Objective/Purpose of the Position

The Busser supports a seamless dining experience by clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables and the dining room with speed and care in a fast-paced, elevated California bistro.

The Busser works closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and service team to keep service flowing smoothly.

Tasks/Responsibilities

Dining Room Support

• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and quietly between guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and floors.
• Refill water, bread, and other items and assist servers with food running as needed.
• Restock service stations with supplies, silverware, and glassware.

Guest & Team Support

• Provide discreet, attentive, and professional support to guests.
• Support servers and management to keep service moving efficiently.

Compliance

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation requirements and report concerns to management.
