Position Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting the Floor & Cocktail Servers in guest service steps and resetting tables efficiently and professionally. The role involves interacting with guests, employees, and supervisors in a courteous manner to ensure excellent hospitality.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain professional appearance standards as per the Tao Group Hospitality Employee Handbook.
2. Anticipate and accommodate guest needs.
3. Keep tables clean and organized.
4. Communicate guest needs to support staff, servers, managers, and chefs.
5. Deliver and refill water as requested or directed.
6. Clear and reset tables, including cleaning the area during service.
7. Contribute to guest satisfaction through active participation in service.
8. Ensure cleanliness of stations and the entire venue.
9. Follow health and sanitation standards.
10. Set up and maintain floor and side stations, perform opening and closing procedures, including:

• Ensure all tables and chairs are clean and debris-free.
• Set tables with proper settings.
• Wipe down furniture and surfaces.
• Stock supplies at side stations.

Participate in marking tables for courses when applicable and attend pre-service meetings.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend training and departmental meetings.
• Report equipment or furniture damage immediately.
• Learn from team members and share knowledge.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and related environments.
• Support team members and work collaboratively.

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

• Previous hospitality experience.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge settings.

Competencies

• Knowledge of Mohegan Sun policies and procedures.

Training Requirements:

• Tao Group Hospitality in-venue busser training.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive motion may be required.
• Exposure to hot kitchen elements and cleaning materials.
• Work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
