Der Dutchman Restaurant Sarasota is seeking a Busser to support restaurant operations by maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming dining areas. You will clear and reset tables, assist servers, and ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience.

The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, reliability, and the ability to lift and move dishes as needed. Join our team for on-the-job training and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment (clearing, resetting, and maintaining dining areas).
• Strong communication with team members and guests to ensure smooth service.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and carry items for extended periods.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Dependable, punctual, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Clear used dishes, silverware, glasses and items from tables promptly.
• Clean and sanitize tables and seating areas after guests leave.
• Assist servers with guest needs and requests as needed.
• Keep dining areas and service stations clean and organized.
• Transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work cooperatively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
• Provide friendly and helpful service to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
