Home Run Inn is looking for a Busser in Darien, IL to help keep tables clean, support servers, and start dining experiences on the right note. This onsite role emphasizes teamwork, speed, and a welcoming atmosphere.

You'll learn restaurant operations, stay active during shifts, and grow with a family‑owned company that values guests and teammates. Training is provided, with flexible scheduling and opportunities to advance within HRI Restaurants.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly.
• Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Safety shoes within 30 days of hire.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly so they're ready for the next guests.
• Keep the dining room clean, organized, and inviting throughout your shift.
• Refill water glasses and assist with guest requests when needed.
• Assist servers with food delivery and carrying trays during busy periods.
• Stock service stations with utensils, napkins, glassware, and other supplies.
• Communicate with servers, hosts, and managers to keep operations running efficiently.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures and maintain high cleanliness standards.

What You'll Do

As a Busser, you'll help keep our restaurant running smoothly by making sure every guest has a clean table, every server has the support they need, and every dining experience starts off right.

Your work behind the scenes helps create the great guest experiences Home Run Inn is known for.

You'll Spend Your Time

Creating a Great Dining Experience

• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly so they're ready for the next guests
• Keep the dining room clean, organized, and inviting throughout your shift
• Refill water glasses and assist with guest requests when needed
• Help ensure every guest is seated at a clean, properly prepared table
• Thank guests as they leave and help create a positive last impression

Supporting the Team

• Assist servers with food delivery and carrying trays during busy periods
• Stock service stations with utensils, napkins, glassware, and other supplies
• Help maintain a smooth flow of service throughout the restaurant
• Communicate with servers, hosts, and managers to keep operations running efficiently
• Jump in wherever help is needed to support your teammates

Keeping Things Clean & Organized

• Sweep dining areas and maintain clean guest spaces
• Keep bussing stations neat, stocked, and organized
• Remove trash and assist with opening and closing responsibilities
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Help maintain the high cleanliness standards our guests expect

What You'll Bring

• Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required—we'll train you
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, lift, and carry throughout your shift
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire
• Safety shoes within 30 days of hire
• Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language spoken by our guests
