Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a Busser/Server’s Assistant for its I.D. Delafield restaurant. You will support the dining team by setting tables, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests receive attentive service consistent with our standards.

Responsibilities include clearing and resetting tables, assisting with beverages and condiments, and maintaining sanitation and safety policies throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Legible handwriting.
• Teamwork.
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills.
• Frequently required to lift, carry, deliver and serve from trays weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Balance serving tray on one hand while distributing orders to customers with the other.

Responsibilities

• Clear all used tableware, napkins and refuse from tables to bus station.
• Wipe tables, chairs and clears debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding table.
• Assist wait staff by refilling customers beverages and accommodating requests for additional condiments, food items or clean/fresh tableware.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked and orderly bus station at all times in order to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Retrieve cleaned dishes, glassware and utensils from the dish room and distribute to each service station in order to keep a ready supply available for restaurant use.
• Must be able to identify and explain all dishes on current menus.
• Perform other duties including running dishes, sweeping, emptying trash, filling waters.

As the Busser/Server’s Assistant, you will serve customers and extend great customer service by setting tables; adhering to sanitation and safety policies; clearing and cleaning tables, chairs, and maintain the overall cleanliness of the dining establishment.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT
