Sea Captain's House in Myrtle Beach is seeking motivated Bussers/Food Runners to help create a welcoming dining experience. You will clear and prepare tables, assist servers, and deliver orders with a friendly, professional demeanor.

We offer weekly pay and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and tuition assistance. Weekend availability and a fast-paced team environment are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room for servers by cleaning and setting tables.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety policies.
• Maintain menus and serviceware presentation.
• Set and replenish table settings and assist with deliveries.
• Support servers by delivering food and drinks.
• Restock condiment stands and bus stations.
• Clear tables promptly and prepare for next guests.
• Keep dining area clean and welcoming.
• Take initiative to improve service and handle special requests.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

Sea Captain's House has been a favorite of the Grand Strand for over 60 years. We are a high-volume, fast-paced, award-winning, oceanfront restaurant that is looking for motivated and friendly individuals to join our team as Bussers/Food Runners! As a Busser/Food Runner, you will help create an enjoyable dining experience for our guests by providing excellent customer service, clearing and preparing tables for guests, assisting waitstaff with order delivery, and other related duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares dining room for servers by cleaning and clothing tables; setting silverware, condiments, etc.
• Protects establishment by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
• Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean; replacing damaged or soiled pages.
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to server spills or other needs.
• Assists Servers by delivering food and drink orders as needed.
• Supports wait staff by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers liners, and bus stations.
• Clearing off and preparing for next guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintains dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors; removing trash and recyclables.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Other duties as assigned
