Job summary

Brittain Resorts & Hotels is seeking a Food Runner to support our dining team in Myrtle Beach. You will help create a pleasant guest experience by assisting servers, delivering food and clearing tables. A positive attitude and reliability are essential in a fast-paced resort setting.

The role requires standing for long periods, flexible schedules including weekends and holidays, and a commitment to hospitality excellence. Weekly pay is offered along with industry benefits.

Qualifications

• Availability to work 6:00 AM–12:00 PM or 1:00 PM–9:00 PM.
• Ability to work varying schedules including weekends/holidays.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room for servers by cleaning and setting tables and condiments.
• Deliver food and drinks to guests as needed.
• Assist servers with order delivery and table maintenance.
• Maintain menus and keep dining area clean and organized.
• Restock condiment stands, trash liners and bus stations as needed.
• Clear and reset tables promptly for new guests.
• Ensure dining area remains neat and welcoming.

Overview

As a Food Runner, you will help create an enjoyable dining experience for our guests by providing excellent customer service, clearing and preparing tables for guests, assisting waitstaff with order delivery, and other related duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares dining room for servers by cleaning and clothing tables; setting silverware, condiments, etc
• Protects establishment by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
• Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean; replacing damaged or soiled pages
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to server spills or other needs
• Assists Servers by delivering food and drink orders as needed
• Supports wait staff by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers liners, and bus stations
• Clearing off and preparing for next guests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintains dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors; removing trash and recyclables
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for long periods of time
