Job summary

The Arthur J in Manhattan Beach, CA, is seeking skilled Bussers & Runners to join our newly opened concept. A Busser/Runner will support the dining room by bussing and running with hospitality and care, ensuring a smooth guest experience.

A qualified candidate will have a minimum of 1 year bussing and running in a high‑volume upscale environment, be comfortable explaining menu details to guests, and bring humility, respect and integrity to every service. Flexible dinner availability is required.

Chef David LeFevre has carved a niche in Manhattan Beach with eclectic, chef driven restaurants focusing on soulful food, engaging service, hand crafted cocktails and boutique wine selections. After opening Manhattan Beach Post in April 2011 and Fishing With Dynamite in April 2013, we are looking to recruit skilled, highly passionate, experienced and motivated Bussers & Runners for our newly opened concept: The Arthur J.

A qualified Busser/Runner Candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year bussing and running experience in a high volume upscale environment. We expect this position to engage with the Guest with the same ease and comfort level as our servers. Feeling comfortable pointing out the intricacies of food when delivered to a table will be required. Candidates for all positions will possess humility, respect and integrity.

A flexible dinner time availability is required. Most of all we are looking for individuals passionate about hospitality and relationship building. If you’re a busser/runner who learns something new about the menu on every shift and is driven to always do better, than you’re exactly what we’re looking for.
