Join Our Team as a Busser at Egg Harbor Cafe

We are hiring for the Busser Part-Time Lake Forest role at Egg Harbor Cafe. Join our Hospitality Support Team, which includes hosts, food runners, drink runners, baristas, and bussers. Our team members enhance the guest experience by supporting servers, delivering drinks and food, accommodating guests, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

This role is a steppingstone into the restaurant industry. Our team-based management and service systems support your success in a culture where we care about our team members, customers, and communities.

Egg Harbor Cafe values creating a positive culture where every employee is excited to serve and make a positive impact. Our shifts start and end early, with flexible scheduling around busy weekends and holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Responsibilities include:

• Keeping floors swept or vacuumed and free from debris.
• Assisting in clearing plates, glassware, and silverware from guests.
• Helping servers retrieve items for guests.
• Restocking glassware and silverware.
• Maintaining cleanliness in common areas, including lobby and restrooms.
• Communicating with staff to ensure tables are ready for new guests.
• Supporting other tasks such as organizing to-go orders.
• Performing opening/closing duties and side work as assigned.
