Job summary

Egg Harbor Café is seeking a friendly Hospitality Support Team member for bussing, hosting, food/ drink running, and barista tasks. You’ll help servers and keep the dining area welcoming and clean, contributing to a warm, family-friendly experience.

Shifts start early with weekends/holidays busier; candidates must obtain Georgia Alcohol Server & Seller Certification and an Alcohol Pouring Permit if hired. Join a family-owned team focused on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

A steppingstone into the restaurant industry…Join our “Hospitality Support Team” as a busser!

The “Hospitality Support Team” includes the host, food runner/drink runner, barista, and busser roles. Hospitality Support Team members will enhance the guest experience by supporting the front of house servers to make and deliver drinks, deliver food, accommodate guests coming in, clear tables, keep the dining area clean and organized, etc.

Shifts start and end early, so you’ll never work at night. Scheduling is generally flexible if you understand that our busiest days are on the weekends and holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Bussers enhance the experience for our guests by creating a comfortable, clean, and organized atmosphere. They work magic with a sense of urgency to clear and clean tables as fast as possible to get each guest in quickly, allowing them to fully enjoy the dining experience.

In addition, our bussers:

• Keep floors swept or vacuumed and free from debris.
• Assist in clearing plates, glassware, and silverware from guests when they are finished.
• Assist servers in retrieving items for guests when needed.
• Restock glassware and silverware.
• Keep common areas (including lobby and restrooms) clean and tidy.
• Communicate with staff at the front when tables are clean and ready to be seated.
• Can work and communicate with other team members towards a common goal of our guest having the best experience possible.
• Support other tasks as needed (i.e., organizing and bagging to-go orders)
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Perform opening/closing and on shift side work and maintenance properly.

Please Note: Candidates selected for this position will be required to obtain a Georgia Alcohol Server & Seller Certification and an Alcohol Pouring Permit prior to or within a designated timeframe following their start date.
