Summary:

The Busser assists the Server in providing high-quality service to guests while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards during operating hours.

This role requires a passion for the food and beverage industry and a commitment to delivering a Cosm-worthy experience, creating memorable moments for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations, following Cosm policies and procedures outlined in training manuals and employee handbook.
• Prepare and organize your section before scheduled times.
• Follow Cosm’s Pillar of Service for each guest as outlined in training materials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure guest satisfaction through a one-team approach.
• Engage with guests, coworkers, and managers professionally and positively during all interactions.
• Ensure guests are attended to from entry to exit.
• Be knowledgeable about the company’s products, services, promotions, and events.
• Follow supervisor directions and support additional tasks such as cleaning or side work with a positive attitude.
• Adhere to State Liquor laws and company policies regarding alcohol service and law enforcement.
• Attend scheduled food, bar, or service trainings.
• Support all policies in the employee handbook and training manuals.
• Minimize china and glass breakage.
• Rotate and stock coolers appropriately.
• Work flexible shifts, including late hours, holidays, and weekends, based on operational needs.
• Maintain friendliness and professionalism with guests and team members.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrate good time management and communication skills.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds continuously.

Experience:

• Frequent bending, squatting, overhead reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Occasional kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Seldom climbing, pushing, pulling, or lifting over 50 pounds.
• Previous bussing or food delivery experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Fluent in English, with basic writing skills.
• Possession of food handlers’ card and responsible alcohol service certification.
• Legal age to serve alcohol according to local and state laws.
