Mia's Table in Conroe, TX is seeking a friendly busser to help maintain a clean, inviting dining room and support servers. You will contribute to a smooth guest experience by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables and assisting guests with basic needs.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old, able to stand for long periods, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. On-the-job training is provided, and a positive, professional attitude is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous experience as a busser or in a similar role is preferred but not always required. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Table clearing and cleaning: Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly and efficiently; clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and surrounding areas.
• Table resetting: Refill paper towels and condiments; ensure each table is properly set for the next guest.
• Dish and glassware handling: Collect and sort used dishes; assist dishwasher as needed to maintain flow.
• Customer assistance: Assist guests with seating, provide menus, answer basic questions, direct to restrooms or areas.
• Beverage refilling: Monitor and refill water glasses and other beverages as requested.
• Assistance to waitstaff: Deliver food items, condiments, and supplies to the dining area; support staff as needed.
• Cleaning and maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash; maintain clean floors and restrooms.
• Attention to detail: Keep dining areas and restrooms clean, organized, and visually appealing; ensure supplies are full.
• Teamwork and communication: Coordinate with food runners, cashiers, and kitchen staff to provide seamless service.

The key duties and responsibilities of a busser at Mia's Table include:

• Table clearing and cleaning: Clearing tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly and efficiently. Cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and surrounding areas to prepare them for the next guest.
• Table resetting: Refilling paper towels and condiments according to the restaurant's standards. Ensuring each table is properly set for the next guest.
• Dish and glassware handling: Collecting and sorting used dishes, glassware, and silverware, and placing them in designated areas for dishwashers to clean. Assisting the dishwasher as needed to maintain a steady flow of cleaned dishes.
• Customer assistance: Assisting customers with seating, providing menus, answering basic questions about the restaurant's offerings, and directing them to restrooms or other areas of the establishment.
• Beverage refilling: Monitoring and refilling water glasses and other beverages as requested by customers, ensuring a satisfactory dining experience.
• Assistance to waitstaff: Supporting the food runners by delivering food items, condiments, and other supplies to the dining area. Assisting with any other tasks requested by the staff or restaurant management.
• Cleaning and maintenance: Assisting with general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the dining area and restrooms, as well as emptying trash bins and maintaining cleanliness of the floor.
• Attention to detail: Ensuring the dining area and restrooms are clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Supplies are full.
• Teamwork and communication: Collaborating effectively with other members of the restaurant staff, including food runners, cashiers and kitchen personnel, to ensure efficient and seamless service to guests.
• Safety and compliance: Adhering to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, following correct lifting and storage procedures, and reporting any hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
