Job summary

Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment is seeking a Busser I to set tables with clean linens and silverware, clear soiled items, and maintain a clean dining area. You will support servers, assist guests, and ensure compliance with TOGE health and safety standards in a fast-paced casino environment.

Responsibilities include stocking service items, clearing tables quickly, polishing ware, and performing opening/closing side work while maintaining professional conduct and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of food service.
• Strong communication skills; read and write clearly in basic English.
• Knowledge of outstanding guest service.
• Knowledge of internal controls and commitment to follow them.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handlers card.
• Ability to obtain TIPS certification.
• Ability to pass Busser I Skill Set testing.
• Ability to follow instructions in a stressful, busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Set tables with clean linens and silverware; remove soiled items from tables.
• Clear and transport dishes and glassware to dish station using bus carts.
• Maintain clean, sanitized side stations, floors, and restrooms.
• Assist guests and respond to requests while upholding service standards.
• Follow all safety and health regulations and TOGE guidelines.
• Perform opening, running, and closing Busser side work.
• Reset dining room tables according to standards.
• Polish silverware and glassware; prepare for use.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service.
• Flexibility to cover other duties as assigned.
