Location: Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach

We are looking for a Busser/Food Runner to join our team and facilitate collaboration between our kitchen and wait staff. The Busser/Food Runner is also responsible for setting tables, serving food orders, and removing used dishes and utensils.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner, maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Promote a positive work environment by addressing and resolving conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Ensure guest comfort by answering questions, conveying special instructions to the kitchen and bar, and making suggestions based on preferences.
• Deliver food to guests promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and specials.
• Arrange table settings prior to guest seating.
• Bus tables, clean, and sanitize them after guests leave.
• Ensure guests are satisfied and address any issues.
• Follow all health regulations and customer service guidelines.
• Attend to guests efficiently with a friendly attitude.
• Collect used dishes and utensils and return them to the dishwashing area.
• Assist with inventory and notify supervisor of shortages or discrepancies.
• Clean spills, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Inspect supplies and equipment for cleanliness and functionality.
• Project a professional and hospitable manner.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and healthy work environment.
• Support team efforts to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues when possible.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
