• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout dining areas.
• Wipe tables, chairs, booths, and surrounding areas.
• Assist dish staff with scraping, stacking, and transporting dishes.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean spills.
• Remove trash and recycling and replace liners as needed.
• Complete opening and closing duties for the shift.

In a large waterfront restaurant serving hundreds of guests throughout the day, bussers play a critical role in maintaining the pace of service and ensuring every guest walks into a clean, welcoming, and beach‑ready dining space.

The Busser is responsible for clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently, assisting with food and beverage delivery, and maintaining cleanliness throughout all dining areas. This role supports servers, bartenders, and the kitchen team to keep service moving during busy shifts. Bussers remove dishes and drinkware, wipe and sanitize tables, restock service stations, refill ice and supplies, and assist with opening and closing duties to keep the restaurant operating smoothly. Their hustle directly impacts how quickly guests are seated, how efficiently tables turn, and how smoothly the entire team operates.
